About the circle
I use the circular symbol to represent the attitude a business analyst should have when approaching a new project.
Nothingness: a clean slate, making no assumptions
The Boundless: being open to all possibilities, questioning everything
Balance: because the work of an analyst often is a balancing act
This symbol derives from a concept in Chinese philosophy called Wuji, which suggests these notions of nothingness, the boundless and balance.
Declan is aware of the Dilbert cartoon in which Dogbert charges a consultancy fee for providing a coffee cup stain as a company logo representing the “Brown Ring of Quality”.
