Dear God…
Declan Chellar February 19th, 2009
I read in the news today that oil workers who survived a helicopter crash in the North Sea are thanking You for the miracle of saving them.
Assuming they are right and You got involved, wouldn’t it have been easier for You not to let the helicopter crash in the first place?
And would that be the same You who let fifty people die in a plane crash in New York last week?
Answers via burning bush or vague metaphors in an ancient book, please.
One little slip up and people go all panekto????!! You think I can be everywhere at once??
PS the miracle is that helicopters fly at all !!
Thanks for clearing that up, God. Now about the immaculate conception…
Wll obviously my son isn’t going to be born of any old womb. Thus his mother was conceived immaculately.i.e without that thing you mortals call “original sin”. a little fun with parthenogenesis took care of the rest!
I have a problem with the whole “original sin” thing.

Can you explain that?
Of course!….1st you shouldn’t believe all you read about me. However back to those two brats. Yes they were freshly minted and naïve and so unready for the full knowledge of good and evil. Sometimes you can only instruct a child to do something because they are too young to understand the reasons etc. so then they went off in a huff..and can they hold a grudge..thus the need for the virgin etc!
Erm… I don’t think they went off in a huff. I understand you threw them out.
you mean :”Therefore the I sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.” what can i tell you .many’s the mortal parent says get outta here before i kill ya. and a little physical activity is good for the soul/godhead/spirit/essence etc.
You know, for God, your punctuation is appalling.
I don’t understand people’s issue with the Immaculate Conception. I thought cleanliness was
a good (godly) thing
No, I’m not Catholic, but I listen to them. It’s very soothing.
BTW, TGN – surely original sin is more praiseworthy than derivative sin?
Regional sin, of course, is not as far-reaching in its effects.
The problem I have with original sin is that as described in the bible, it is a logical impossibility.
See http://www.tgnobby.com/ballog/?p=311
God disappears in a puff of logic.
Sorry about the delay.I was collecting data from another experiment. Punctuation was less of a problem when I was using the burning bush. Perhaps I will revert to some other incendiary methods. Of course, there will be the risk that the message will get corrupted in the telling and lead to more logical conundrums for T(G)N !
I thought you were omnipresent and omnipotent.
You think, therefore I am
Nice try.
The fact is that I think, and the more I think, the more I realise what people say about you is inconsistent and illogical.
Personally I reckon this God entity thingy is an attention whore. Talk about needy!
