Panektoproctologist

Following on from Musing #37:
Panektoproctologist: (n) a doctor who deals with all areas of medicine except proctology
Which comes from the Greek:
pan = all
ektos = except
proktos = anus
+ logy (English, but from the Greek logos, meaning “word” or “thought”)
Fly, child of mine! Be free!
You should send this to the medical associations. They’ll be excited at this new category!
Well done!
Is there a Nobel Prize for coming up with new words?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm – I’m sure there’s something.
Contact the Oxford English Dictionary, or the Webster’s. They’re always on the lookout I believe. And you could include the word “ballog” in your submission…:)
By the way, Mr.Nobby, if this child of yours is to fly, I think its unwieldy size and extra-strength staccato nature might need a greater-than-normal wingspan support. It’s a big ‘un!
